Electric car or more commonly known as EV (electric vehicle) is a car that is fully powered by electric. The car is driven by the vehicle's electrical motor that is powered by the large capacity rechargeable battery.

Air pollution! Unlike a combustion engine car, EV do not contribute to air pollution. Plus, it requires less maintenance as there is no need for engine oil or transmission oil replacement.

The disadvantage of EV cars would be the lack of charging points, especially if you are going for long-distance travelling. However, for city-drive, you should have no problem driving around with a fully charged car.

Regenerative braking is a system where your motor converts your vehicle's speed into electrical energy to recharge the vehicle's battery during braking (deceleration / downhill). This method allows your car to travel slightly further by self-charging its own battery.

Yes! It has been tested that charging an EV in the rain is safe for both the car and any people near the charger of the vehicle itself.

There are several ways to charge your electric car. For level 1 charging, a normal wall plug is sufficient enough to power it up. But for level 2, and level 3 charging, a specific charger and configuration is required.
