What to know about the Proton X70

The X70 has an ISG Integrated Starter Generator variant. Do NOT fit a conventional flooded battery — it must be EFB or AGM rated. Using a non-ISG battery on an ISG model causes the alternator to overcharge and damages the battery within months.
